The Cross-Cultural Center is proud of its growing tradition of collaboration with academic and administrative units as well as student and community groups to provide innovative programming throughout the academic year. Students, student organizations, faculty, staff and campus units are eligible to submit proposals for funds. The Center's goal is to provide leadership opportunities for as many students as possible.

Priority will be given to proposals which: support the mission of the Cross-Cultural Center and advocate for the institutional goal for campus diversity. All activities must be open to all campus communities and non-exclusive.A proposal application can be obtained during business hours at the Center or you can click here to obtain an online form that can be printed out and returned to the Cross-Cultural Center.

Registered Student Groups

Leadership
Funds for leadership development opportunities are designed to assist currently registered students with travel and expenses associated with research projects and leadership development opportunities that support the Center's mission. Proposals for leadership development grants must be accompanied by a personal statement by the student which explains how the program or project is consistent with the mission of the Cross-Cultural Center, and how participation in the activity will further the student's goals.

Attendance at Conferences, Seminars or Workshops
We provide funding for students who want to participate in conferences, seminars or workshops that provide them with leadership development opportunities. We assist with costs associated with registration, accommodation and/or travel.

Research Activities
We assist with the cost of travel and/or materials associated with research projects for registered students. In order to be considered for funding, a UC Davis professor who agrees to oversee the project must provide a letter of sponsorship.
