Event Vendors

Interested in being a vendor for food or non-food items at our annual Powwow, La Gran Tardeada, Black Family Day, or Night Market? Check back here for more information.

Student Food Booths

Registered student organizations that are in good standing (as per the UC Davis Center for Student Involvement) can raise money for their organization during the following annual events via a food booth: La Gran Tardeada, Asian Pacific Culture Night, and/or Black Family Day. Interested groups can apply via the following:

  1. Fill out a temporary student food booth application and cover letter thoroughly.
    Asian Pacific Culture Night application deadline has passed
    Black Family Day application deadline has passed
    La Gran Tardeada application deadline has passed

  2. Complete the online food booth training (two students from the organization must complete and print out certificates)

  3. Attend in-person food booth training (winter quarter) and refresher course (spring quarter). The same two individuals from the organization must attend the training and refresher course.
    Spring Quarter Refresher Course: April 13th at 1:00-1:30pm in Meeting Room D

  4. Comply with all food and safety regulations as outlined in the application and presented in the trainings.

Off-Campus Food Vendors

Off-campus organizations that are interested in selling food during Powwow, Asian Pacific Culture Night, and/or Black Family Day, can apply via the following: 

  1. Fill out a temporary off-campus food booth application thoroughly.
    Asian Pacific Culture Night application deadline has passed
    Black Family Day application deadline has passed
    Powwow application deadline has passed

  2. Food vendors must pay an event fee of $100 plus a required health inspection fee. Health inspection fees vary depending on the type of food booth you would like to have, please see application for specific fee requirements.

  3. Comply with all food and safety regulations as outlined in the application.

Off-Campus Non-Food Vendors

Off-campus non-food vendors that are interested in selling merchandise/crafts, or for organizations who would like to provide a variety of community resources/information during Powwow, Asian Pacific Culture Night, and/or Black Family Day, can apply via the following: 

  1. Fill out a temporary off-campus food booth application thoroughly.
    Asian Pacific Culture Night application deadline has passed
    Black Family Day application deadline has passed
    Powwow application deadline has passed

  2. Non-food vendors must pay an event fee of $50. Fee is waived for non-profit organizations, proof of 501C3 is required.

  3. Comply with all safety regulations as outlined in the application.

You can reach out to the respective events' Student Coordinators and Program Coordinators for assistance in any or all of these areas.

Please be mindful of deadlines and thoroughly review the food and safety rules and regulations. Failure to do so can result in delays in the application and training process, and potential removal of the food booth up until the day of or during the event.
