Danzantes del Alma Student Co-Manager
Daniel Hernandez (he/him) is a third-year Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology major. He has been involved in Danzantes del Alma since freshmen year and began his work at the Cross Cultural Center as a Board member for DDA his sophomore year. In his role, he works to celebrate Mexican culture and heritage through traditional folk dancing and to promote higher education for Chicanx/Latinx community through outreach events. He grew up in Tijuana, Mexico and is constantly self-redefining what it means for him to be first-generation gay man in the Mexican-American culture.
