Powwow Student Co-Coordinator
Tori McConnell (Yurok; she/her) is a second year in the College of Biological Sciences. As Powwow Student Coordinator, she hopes to contribute to the success and development of the UC Davis Native American Culture Days and Powwow events, with the overarching goal of honoring and bringing greater visibility to the vastly diverse cultures and traditions of American Indian and California Indian peoples. She also serves as the treasurer of Davis Chamber Choir and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society Davis Chapter. In her free time, Tori enjoys spending time with her fellow choir members and Native community, exercising/daydreaming about the completion of the ARC renovation, cooking, and finding new ways to appreciate the life and world she is a part of.
