La Gran Tardeada embraces the principle of inclusivity, aiming to celebrate and uplift all intersectional identities within the Chicanx/Latinx community. It serves as a space where people can come together, regardless of their background, gender, sexuality, or any other aspect of their identity, fostering a sense of belonging, pride, and empowerment.

Through its festivities and cultural showcases, La Gran Tardeada strives to preserve and transmit the heritage and legacy of the Chicanx/Latinx community to future generations.
